Seeking Bundles

Privacy policy

Effective September 29, 2026. Seeking Bundles is operated by Seeking Zen IK. Contact: hzandovskis@gmail.com.

What the app processes

When a merchant installs the app, Shopify provides store identifiers, installation credentials, product and variant information, inventory availability and the permissions needed to manage bundle discounts and product images. We store offer settings and the identifiers needed to operate the app.

For offer analytics and usage billing, we process order identifiers, dates, currencies, item quantities, discounts, bundle attributes, payment status, refunds and cancellations. Order webhooks may contain additional customer information in transit. Our order records and billing snapshots omit customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses and payment credentials.

Storefront analytics

Where Shopify's customer privacy settings allow analytics, the widget records anonymous offer views and add-to-cart events. These records are not linked to a customer account. When analytics consent is granted, A/B tests use browser session storage to keep the selected offer consistent and tag resulting bundle purchases to measure test performance. If consent is unavailable or analytics is blocked, those browser events may not be recorded. Order-based reporting is processed separately to provide the merchant's requested app functionality and billing.

How information is used and shared

We use this information to display offers, apply discounts, provide analytics, calculate app charges, handle refunds, prevent duplicate billing and respond to support requests. We do not sell customer information or use it for advertising.

Shopify provides the commerce platform and app billing. Railway hosts the application and database. If the merchant chooses background removal, the selected product image is sent to Photoroom for processing; the resulting image can be saved in the merchant's Shopify Files. These providers process information to deliver their services and may operate outside the merchant's country. ECB exchange-rate requests contain no order or customer information.

Retention and deletion

Offer configuration is retained while the app is installed. Offer views, add-to-cart events and order-level analytics are retained for 90 days, with automated cleanup at startup and hourly while the service runs. Expired orders are not re-imported into analytics. Completed or failed background-removal job records are retained for 30 days; in-progress jobs are retained until resolved. Saved images in Shopify Files remain under the merchant’s control. Anonymous event records and order-level records are removed when the app is uninstalled. Shopify customer-redaction requests remove the specified order records and leave suppression fingerprints to prevent re-import. Uninstall removes installation credentials; limited store-level billing, trial and allowance records remain until Shopify's final shop-redaction request, when they are deleted.

Settled order-level billing records are retained for up to 730 days from purchase to reconcile refunds and billing disputes. Cleanup pauses for stores with outstanding balances, pending billing jobs or events, or a billing review; those holds require review at least quarterly and release when resolved. Updates for expired ledger entries require manual review instead of creating new charges. Unresolved customer-data requests remain available until fulfilled or the app is removed. Redaction suppression fingerprints remain until final shop redaction to prevent re-import. Aggregate billing events do not contain customer or order identifiers. Hosting providers may maintain operational and security logs under their service policies. Contact us for information about a particular record or deletion request. Support correspondence is used to answer and resolve your request; do not send passwords, API keys or payment card details.
